ABOUT

Evin Ashley Erdoğdu is an author, artist, and analyst. Recently she has written for Cornucopia Magazine, the Harvard Journal of Middle Eastern Politics and Policy, and the Christian Science Monitor.

 

Evin grew up as a US expat in Saudi Arabia and Japan, and has lived and traveled extensively throughout the Asian continent, from Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq to Singapore and South Korea. She is a graduate of Boston University where she studied International Relations, and she holds a certificate of Distinction in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Rice University. Evin worked for two civil society organizations in Turkey administering USAID, EU, and UN funded development projects in Turkey and Syria as well as civil society organizations in the United States, and is currently managing projects for a global organization. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR)

Evin believes in the power of art to transform society and connect people, something she has always tried to integrate into her own work.
